One Day, In the Barn....

Once upon a time, in a lil Red Barn

tucked away just outside a quiet village in Ohio...

There was a very pretty girl...

(much prettier than anything I've drawn)

...and, of course,

a boy

(isn't it always like that?)

"..oh my,..."

she said as she held him and inspected him.

"That will do nicely, I think,"

and the boy was quite happy to hear that...

but of course, he would be wouldn't he?

Indiana is dotted with little forest islands.

In the Fall, they huddle together and show off

their colors, their height, or, maybe....

they're screaming, "TURN the HEAT ON!"

Fall Morning in Indiana

Cool Stones

The first thing this morning I saw the beautiful sky

and flew out the door for photos...

The Cool Stones is the cemetery I painted at

to help raise funds for straightenning the stones of

civil war veterans (and others)

Crayons and Oils

purely crayon on textured paper

Actually, I'm thinking I should put a gravel drive in from the barn to the viewer

the thing is, it makes it easier to do a thumbnail first

and then move on to a full size or an oil medium.

 

Go figure. Sometimes blogger overlords let me post my pix
